Hello there, and welcome to our blog.

We’d like to introduce ourselves and our company, we are Avanti Ultrasound. The word Avanti has a meaning that closely aligns with our ethos of moving forward. We want to bring super high-quality services coupled with excellent customer service to the leafy ‘burbs of historic Hamilton East.

Currently our services include:

• General ultrasounds, this includes scans like abdominal, renal, thyroid, testis and venous studies.

• Musculoskeletal, this involves anything related to the tendons, bones, ligaments and surrounding structures. As a sub-speciality in itself, MSK can we done to a really advanced level (which is what we are passionate about). We have also got some high end equipment to help us along in our excellence journey!

• Women’s health - this encompasses all stages of pregnancy, pelvic ultrasounds and breast ultrasound.

• Specialist quantative tissue test - liver elastography, this test is used to determine the level of stiffness or hardness in a particular tissue. We are the only clinic in our region offering this in the community.

• Last but not least we offer ultrasound guided corticosteroid injections once per week with our urgent care doctor.
