Access - we have removed the surcharge for selected early pregnancy and nuchal translucency scans once a fortnight for patients who are in the early stages of their pregnancy.
Training - in conjunction with the above we are helping to train the next generation of obstetric and gynaecology consultants and hope they will gain extremely valuable scanning experience.
Follow best practice - we are implementing the use of the customised GROW chart for every 3rd trimester ultrasound we perform, this recommendation has been developed by the Perinatal Institute, London. This is provided that it has been created on the online portal. We are enjoying this additional piece of information as it allows us to better tailor the ultrasound scan.
